Owner Comments: |
"Tuff-N-Nuff rock shield, one of a number of pipe coating protection methods used successfully on the project, was utilized in areas where the backfill consisted of coarse gravels and cobbles. Tuff-N-Nuff performed well and provided good pipe protection and coating protection under these backfill material conditions." Bill Manery, P.Eng |
Contractor Comments: |
"Marine crews used Tuff-N-Nuff Rockshield and found it very easy to work with. The custom cut sheets are easy to store and transport. They are not affected by weather and the product is easy to install on the pipe. Marine used a significant quantity on the BC Gas job which used approximately 16,000 meters of Rockshield over 24" FBE coated pipe. We are certain that the Tuff-N-Nuff will provide the owner with a strong, long term protection for their pipe coating. Most importantly the product was always there when we needed it."
